Argentina, 31 de marzo 2008.
En nuestro continente se observan focos persistentes Fiebre Amarilla Selvática (FAS) en
la selva amazónica de Colombia, Perú, Bolivia y Brasil. Ondas epizoóticas se desprenden de
las áreas enzoóticas del Brasil, pudiendo llegar a la selva subtropical de Argentina en las que existen los nichos ecoepidemiológicos apropiados para la transmisión de la FAS.
